AI automation for professional services firms, including agencies, accounting, legal and consulting practices, that bill for expertise but lose hours to admin.
Sound familiar?
Agencies, accounting firms, law firms and consultancies sell time and judgment. Yet a large share of each week goes to work that is neither: chasing documents, re-entering client details, compiling reports and searching for the template someone used last year. That is where AI automation for professional services earns its keep.
A typical example: an accounting practice with 300 clients sends monthly requests for bank statements, receipts and payroll reports, then tracks who has replied in a spreadsheet. An automated workflow can send personalized requests, read what comes back, file it to the right client folder in the practice-management system and only bother a person about what is missing or unclear. We build these as workflow automations on top of the tools you already use, such as Karbon, Clio, TaxDome or HubSpot.
The other big opportunity is knowledge. Precedents, proposals, methodologies and past deliverables are your firm's real product, and they are usually hard to search. A private knowledge base assistant lets staff ask questions and get answers with links to the source documents, inside your permissions model.
We are deliberate about limits. AI drafts; qualified professionals review and sign. Nothing goes to a client, a court or a tax authority without a person approving it, and we never present AI output as professional advice. For anything bespoke, such as a client portal or a reporting tool, we build internal tools that fit how your firm actually works.
The problem
Whether you run a marketing agency, a bookkeeping practice, a law firm or a consulting team, the non-billable work looks surprisingly similar.
New clients fill in forms, send ID and documents, sign engagement letters and get set up in several systems. Law firms add conflict checks; accounting firms add AML and KYC steps. Each step is simple, but together they take days and lots of emails.
Recurring work depends on clients sending things on time. Staff send reminders, check what has arrived, rename files and file them, then remind again. In busy seasons this becomes a full-time job.
Many professionals reconstruct their week on Friday from calendars and inboxes. Time gets lost, invoices go out late and realization suffers.
Agencies build monthly performance reports from ad platforms and analytics. Consultants write weekly status updates. Accountants explain month-end numbers. A lot of this is gathering data and writing the first draft.
"Do we have a proposal for something like this?" "Which clause did we use for that?" "How did we handle this tax situation before?" The answers exist somewhere, but finding them means asking a senior person.
Winning new work means proposals, statements of work and pitch documents, most of which reuse sections from earlier ones. Partners and account leads often rebuild them from scratch at night because finding the right previous version takes longer than starting again.
All of these can be partly automated. The work that needs professional judgment stays with professionals, and they get to spend more of the day on it.
Advice, opinions, legal drafting that will be relied on, tax positions and creative strategy belong to your people. AI can prepare a first draft or a research summary, but the person whose name is on the work makes the call. We also avoid automating the client relationship itself: a partner's check-in call should stay a partner's check-in call.
Where we start
Recurring requests go out automatically, incoming files are classified and filed to the right client and period, and staff see a live list of what is still missing instead of a spreadsheet.
Web or email inquiries are captured into the CRM or practice-management system, intake details are extracted, engagement documents are generated from templates and conflict or KYC checks are queued for a person to complete.
Calendar events, emails and document activity are turned into draft time entries per client and matter. Staff review and submit in a few minutes instead of reconstructing the week.
Data from ad platforms, analytics, accounting software or project tools is pulled into your report template with a first-draft commentary that the account lead edits before sending.
Staff ask questions in Teams or Slack and get answers from proposals, precedents, templates and procedures, with links to the source documents and respecting existing access rights.
Discovery notes and call transcripts are turned into a first-draft proposal or statement of work using your templates, past examples and rate card. A partner or account lead edits scope and pricing before anything is sent.

FAQ
We use business-tier APIs from providers such as Anthropic and OpenAI that do not train on your data, and we keep documents in your own storage where possible. Access follows your existing permissions, and we can add redaction or region-specific hosting if your obligations require it. You should still check this against your own professional rules and client agreements.
Not in anything we build. AI drafts and organizes; a qualified person reviews and approves anything that goes to a client, a court or a regulator. We design workflows so that approval step can't be skipped.
Most modern tools such as Clio, Karbon and TaxDome have APIs we can use. Where an API is limited, we work through email, document folders or scheduled exports, and tell you up front what that means for the workflow.
We keep processing within systems and providers you approve, avoid moving documents outside your environment unnecessarily and log what the system accessed. Whether a given setup meets your ethical and confidentiality duties is a judgment for your firm and, where needed, your own counsel; we will give you the technical detail to make it.
Start with one workflow where you can count the hours, such as document chasing or time capture. We estimate the time saved and the running cost during scoping, so you can decide on numbers rather than hope.
Tell us what type of firm you run and which admin task your team complains about most. We'll suggest a first automation and how we would keep it safe and reviewable, and roughly how many hours a month it could give back to your team.

We design and build automations that connect your CRM, inbox, accounting system, spreadsheets and storefront. Plain rules handle the predictable steps, AI handles the messy inputs, and people stay in the loop where judgment matters.
