About us
Synova Apps builds AI automations, AI agents and custom software for growing businesses. We also design, sell and support our own Shopify apps and WordPress plugins, and that second part shapes how we do the first.
Synova started by building commerce software: apps for Shopify merchants and plugins for WooCommerce stores. Almost every one began the same way. A merchant described a job their team did by hand every day: copying supplier stock levels into the store, chasing warranty registrations, re-keying wholesale orders from emails, or checking returns for abuse.
Those products taught us that most of a business's wasted time sits in the gaps between tools. When language models became good enough to read invoices, understand customer emails and draft sensible replies, those gaps became much easier to close. Today most of our work is exactly that: connecting systems, adding AI where it genuinely helps, and building custom software where off-the-shelf tools stop.

Alongside that, we keep building our own products. Running software that merchants rely on every day keeps us honest about monitoring, support and the long tail of edge cases, and that discipline goes into every client project.
Clients often arrive asking for “an AI chatbot”. Sometimes that's right. Often the real fix is a cleaner handoff between two systems. We'll say so, even when it's the smaller project.
Anyone can make an impressive AI demo in an afternoon. Making it reliable on real, messy data for months is the job. We design for that from day one.
